- Collaboration with media with view of increasing the popularity of people with disabilities problems and chances and change of society adjustment towards them.
- Analysis of normative documents and suggesting improvement measures.
- Co-operation with all the interested parties on national as well as regional level – other public councils, APD, National Council for Integration of People with Disabilities.
- Analysis of the needs and opportunities of people with disabilities and chances for improving their access to work, education, health care etc.
- Analysis of the available and initiating new and improved social services.
- Monitoring on implementation of the social services delegated.
- Provides and assists implementation of local projects in the field of social policy.
- Investigates and puts into practice successful Bulgaria n and international practices.
